P-47D Razorback “Bonnie”
The P-47D "Bonnie" is the only flying Republic-built razorback P-47D in the world.
Named by Brigadier General William "Bill" Dunham, the aircraft pays tribute to his service as the Commanding Officer of the 460th Fighter Squadron, 348th Fighter Group during WWII.
Dunham named all three of his P-47s "Bonnie" after Bonnie Harris, who later became his wife.
Dunham’s final aircraft, a P-51K, was renamed "Mrs. Bonnie" after their marriage.
